Diana Todorova: building an educational program in Spain

Diana Todorova is passionate about education and decided that the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs was the ideal project for helping her test the educational program that she has been developing, as well as for acquire new skills and knowledge about her area. Vigo was the chosen destination for her adventure - which she is still living -  by being an active part of a STEAM’s education project (STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, a powerful combination of subjects).

Diana has been working in two schools located in Vigo and enjoying an intense and rewarding experience. From building robots from scratch, to playing and programming them, engineering and science are very present topics in her work with all the children. One of the most positive points in Diana’s staying, so far, is the great number of parallel activities she is involved in along with the her team – such as the Open Day they organized, which counted with workshops, interesting lectures and games dedicated to digital fabrication and education. The fact that many people showed up, filled with curiosity and energy, contributed to Diana making new friends and remembering this day with joy.

Recently, Diana also had the opportunity to participate in a meeting of the Spanish digital fabrication labs, where she met makers from all over Spain and got to know more about how to apply digital fabrication in education, the main subject of her own educational program.
We can’t wait to hear more about Diana’s Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs experience!
