Getting to know the Startup 2 project

We are a part of Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme!

Startup2 project partners met each other in Palermo at the end of February 2018

Startup2 is one of 12 smaller projects under the widely known international entrepreneur exchange programme called Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. The two-year Startup2 project started at the beginning of February 2018 but the exchange programme has already existed for nearly 10 years.

Startup2 project consists of eight partner organizations in the following eight countries: Italy, Finland, France, Latvia, Portugal, Serbia, Spain and UK. The organizations operate as contact points for entrepreneurs in the exchange programme and help them throughout the exchange process.

The aim of the Startup2 project is to find new and more experienced entrepreneurs from the fore mentioned eight countries and get them to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs exchange programme.

Entrepreneur - Now is your chance to go international!

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other Participating Countries - and vice versa! 

New entrepreneurs who have owned a business for less than three years or are planning on starting a business based on a viable business plan can register in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme and go abroad.

Experienced entrepreneurs who have owned a business for more than three years can participate in the programme as host entrepreneurs,welcome a new entrepreneur in their company for 1-6 months and learn from them in the process.

The exchange takes place during a stay with the host entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on their business and gets the opportunities to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets. The new entrepreneur gets also monthly financial support from the European Commission during the exchange.

We have a wide network and we are not afraid to use it

The Erasmus of Young Entrepreneurs programme involves a network of 37 participant countries and almost 200 organizations. All the organizations are looking for both new and host entrepreneurs, so there is a wide variety of businesses from different industries involved. Startup2 project group is in the middle of all this and helps the entrepreneur with all the practical arrangements throughout the programme including finding a suitable entrepreneur match from an another country.
